Youth (In) Power is Minnesota Youth Collective’s magazine project. We have always known that young people are interested in forging connections through art and writing, and the success of our Quaranzine proved that. We decided to slowly build a magazine project as a printed and digital way of sharing information and building relationships.
Our first edition is about Black Lives Matter—the timeline of the Uprising in Minnesota, a history of Black Minnesotans, and first-hand accounts of the ways anti-Blackness shows up in other communities of color are all present, as well as other things. We hope this magazine can be informative and provide you with hope for the future and resources for the present. #BLM
